Studying Tagalog at AIT
Our Tagalog lessons encourage regular, practical use of your new language skills, so that you become more confident when communicating. Courses are conducted by well-trained, native or native-fluent instructors, who use proven methods and materials. As much as possible, lessons are taught only in Tagalog. Classroom activities are designed to keep you motivated, and may include drills, dialogue practice, role-plays, discussions, and other enjoyable exercises.

Our teachers are outgoing, friendly, and flexible, and have a variety of life and work experience. Most of our teachers are bilingual, so they understand the challenges of learning a new language and can use that experience to help you succeed. Most teachers speak English, so they can assist you when necessary.
This teacher is from the Philippines where she graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a bachelor of arts degree. In addition to Tagalog, she speaks fluent English and conversational Japanese. She is now the head Tagalog teacher at AIT.

OPEN EVERY DAY
We are open 7 days a week, including holidays (closed on New Year's Day). You may schedule your lessons between the hours of 9:00 and 21:00, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 9:00 and 18:00 on Saturday, Sundays, and holidays. For lessons that fall outside those hours, add ¥1,000 per hour.
